Choosing decorative lighting from a photograph is difficult. Scale, ceiling height, finish and the way glass or crystal reads in a real room can all change the result. Send us a clear photo of your room and the fitting you are considering, and we will help you judge whether the size, drop and style make sense before you order.

What to send us

For the most useful recommendation, send one or two room photographs, the approximate room dimensions, your ceiling height and a link or product name for the fitting you like. If the light is going over a dining table or kitchen island, include the table or island dimensions as well.

What we will help you check

We can help you compare fitting width or diameter, minimum and maximum drop, visual scale, finish, lamp type, dimming and whether a lower-profile alternative would work better. Where we have suitable alternatives in the catalogue, we can point you towards a small shortlist rather than leaving you to search thousands of fittings.

Then see it lit for real

If one of the shortlisted fittings is part of our verified See It Lit range, you can also visit our Camberley showroom and see it switched on before making the final decision. That lets you judge the finish, glass, crystal, scale and quality of light in person rather than relying only on supplier photography.
